You Come and Go Like a Pop Song
The Bicycle Thief
I remember when a friend's band opened for Bicycle Thief about the time this album came out in 1999, but I confess I didn't stay to see them. You Come and Go Like a Pop Song leads me to believe they would have shown me a rollicking good time. As the title suggests, this is solid alternative pop rock, brought to you by Bob Forrest of Thelonious Monster. The tunes are pretty much inoffensive, and you can take that however you'd like. Also note that this is the version that was released on Golden Voice, as Bicycle Thief released another album on Artemis two years later with the exact same title but slightly different songs.
